Fine-tuning and radiative corrections in inflation

Abstract

Inflation models give different predictions that are tested against CMB data. While some models are consistent with today's experiments, they are generically sensitive to various corrections that may easily spoil inflation. In this talk, I discuss two sources that deform the inflaton potential. The first is a small deviation of the coupling and the second is radiative corrections. I show how inflation is sensitive to fine-tuning and derive bounds on the couplings as well as the reheating temperatures, using constraints from Planck+BICEP/Keck and ACT.
